JCF-LOGOJET Christian Fellowship (JCF) is a non-denominational group of JETs who share a common belief and faith in Jesus Christ. It was formed in 1988 by Christians on the JET Program. We meet together to develop friendships, pray for one another, and encourage each other in the walk of faith. We strive to share Jesus and His message of hope with other JETs, foreigners and Japanese people we come in contact with. Our website can be found at www.jetchristianfellowship.com.

Muslims in Japan

Did you know that most soy sauces contain alcohol? Do you know how to say meat extract in Japanese? If a food item lists shortening as an ingredient, is it ok to eat? These are some of many questions Muslims face in Japan. Add to that, our inability to eat the school lunch, fasting during Ramadan, not eating any Japanese meat or drinking at enkai’s, it’s a little difficult to live life comfortably in Japan. Join “Muslims in Japan” to openly discuss Islam, ways to talk with Japanese people who are curious about Islam and its duties and learn what to look for when buying food. Open to Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
