Applications are now open to be a part of the National AJET 2016-17 Council.
National AJET Council members volunteer to support the entire JET population from before they arrive in Japan, throughout their time on the programme and even after they leave.
If you are a passionate, well connected individual who would like to help support and connect your fellow JETs, whilst gaining valuable work experience, why not think about applying for a place on the 2016-17 National AJET Council?
You could be your block’s next Block Representative, and plan great events for JETs in your area, whilst representing their concerns at a national level. Are you a CIR? Consider running for CIR Representative and serving your fellow Co-ordinators for International Relations across Japan.
We will also be recruiting a new Chair, Vice Chair and Treasurer for the new Executive Council. Help shape the overall direction of National AJET, and hone your leadership skills by heading up our team of volunteers!

Do you have a particular area of expertise you would like to develop, whilst benefitting the JET population? We have a number of specialist non-elected appointed positions, such as webmaster, Director of Social Media and Director of Volunteering which can help you do this.
