Aomori | Akita | Hokkaido | Iwate

Block 1 includes Hokkaido, Aomori, Iwate, and Akita. I'm Steffanie Craig, the incoming Block 1 Representative! I’m going into my third year as an ALT in Iwamizawa, Hokkaido. I teach at three elementary schools and am a municipal JET. I hail from Florida, USA, but I call Maryland my home state. I love the stingray island, but I’ve been wanting to travel to the other prefectures. Please tell me about your favorite sites, snowboarding spots, foodie places, and let's all go together! Check out the Facebook page for the block events!

Fukushima | Miyagi | Niigata | Yamagata

Block 2 includes Niigata, Miyagi, Fukushima and Yamagata. Eilidh (pronounced like Hayley without the H) is a first year JET in Fukushima, originally from Scotland. She loves getting involved in local, prefectural and block events, and wants to spread the block 2 love to JETs all over Japan, and simultaneously foster a greater sense of community within her block. In her free time she enjoys spontaneous trips, crying over cute dogs, and eating a quite frankly alarming amount of (mostly junk) food.
