Surveys & Reports

In order to represent the needs, opinions, and suggestions of JET Programme participants to the sponsors of the programme, AJET develops surveys targeted at the JET community addressing various aspects of the programme. Past survey topics include disaster awareness, community involvement, and utilisation of ALTs in the workplace. (See below for a comprehensive list of survey and reports.) The results of these surveys are then analyzed and compiled into comprehensive reports by the National Council.

Until 2014, the results of these reports were shared with officials from the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR), the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC); the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA); the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) at bi-annual opinion exchanges. As of 2014, opinion exchanges are instead held on an as-needed basis as determined by CLAIR; however, AJET will continue to conduct surveys and create reports relevant to the JET Programme community.

If you want to know more about AJET Reports, please check out our infographic below. You’ll see that our reports can have, and have had, a real impact upon the life of JET participants.
