The Fall 2011 survey topics are:

Evaluation of the Prefectural Advisor System (For PA’s only)

The goal of the survey is to collect information on the JET Programme Prefectural Advisor system, how PAs see their responsibilities and training experiences, etc., and to gather suggestions for how to improve the PA system. You will be asked questions about your selection as a PA, training received, cooperation with Japanese PAs and other JET PAs, and your working experiences with JETs in your prefecture or city.

Evaluation of JETs’ Support Systems (open to all JETs)

The goal of this survey is to collect feedback on the current support systems available to JETs, which areas of support are most effective, and which areas JETs feel are lacking in support. You will be asked questions about what support services, if any, you have used in the past, and their level of effectiveness.

English in Elementary School (5th & 6th Grade)

This is a survey to evaluate what’s happening in Elementary School English lessons across the country.  This was the first year of the MEXT’s new foreign language requirements for 5th and 6th graders, so it’s time to find out how that initiative is doing.  You will be asked questions about all aspects of the Elementary school lessons, how they are planned, and how they are executed.
