Spring 2013 Surveys

 AJET Surveys

In order to represent your needs, opinions, and suggestions to the sponsors of the JET Programme, we are releasing the following three surveys to assess the current state of the JET Programme at large, CIR Professional Development, and Recontracting Experiences among JET participants and JET alumni. We would appreciate your cooperation with completing these surveys so that we may better serve your interests at the 2013 Spring Opinion Exchange meetings with CLAIR and the three Ministries in May. Please find further information about and links to the surveys below:

The 2012-2013 JET Experience:
This survey is intended for current JET Programme participants and will ask questions about the general JET experience and the reappointment process. Your responses will help us assess which aspects of JET Programme participants’ lives are satisfactory and which areas are in need of improvement within the context of the JET Programme. We hope to explore responses within the reappointment and retention section to suggest improvements for the reappointment process. If you are a current JET participant, please click here to access and complete this survey.

Professional Development for CIRs:
This survey has been created to collect information about professional development for CIRs. As CIRs, we make up only a small percentage of the total number of JET Participants in Japan, and it can sometimes feel like we are overlooked by the JET Programme. We hope to hear from you, about what you think of the professional development opportunities offered by CLAIR (Translation Interpreting Course, CIR Conferences etc.), National AJET (After JET Conference Info Fair) and the CIR Network (online resources, CIR Newsletter). We would also love to hear your suggestions about what kind of professional development opportunities you would want to see offered. If you are a current CIR or CIR alum, please click here to access and complete this survey.

The JET Alumni Experience:
This survey will ask questions about the reappointment process and the retention of JET Programme participants. Your responses will help us assess which aspects of JET Programme participants’ lives were satisfactory and which areas are in need of improvement within the context of the JET Programme. We hope to explore responses within the reappointment and retention section to suggest improvements for the reappointment process. If you are a JET Programme alum, please click here to access and complete this survey.

All surveys will be open from January 21st to January 27th. All answers are collected anonymously.

Your input is highly valued and we appreciate your time and assistance. Please feel free to contact our projects manager, Anni Pullagura, through our web contact form with any questions you may have.

Have a great day!
