You’ve made it through the interview process and mailed off countless sheets of paperwork. You’ve been through at least two orientations and had your brain stuffed with more information than it can possibly hold, and after all this hard work you’ve finally made it to Japan!
However, you will undoubtedly encounter issues in your daily life that no amount of orientation preparation or internet searching can help you with. Never fear! National AJET has created a section of resources written by current and former JET participants to help you with your daily problems. We have sections on home care, travelling, communicating with home, and even a section on dealing with sexual harassment. If you would like to contribute to any section, or if you would like to suggest new sections to add, please contact the Director of Resources here.
