![]() | Storm MansonBlock 2 Representative Due to the ongoing difficulties faced by COVID19, we decided to shift our efforts and focus on online representation. All Block 2 prefectures created Instagram accounts which updated current and ex-jet participants about events, announcements and volunteer opportunities. This shift provided more reach for a particular prefecture as they saw more interactions from their participants. The new online presences helped individual prefectures with feedback, promotion and volunteer drives. Block 2 also was rebranded to be aligned with our new online presence. |
![]() | Edward PortilloBlock 3 Representative I have mostly tried to support my prefectural AJET chapters, and maintain the online presence of the block. I have also endeavored to make AJET better through proposing changes to the way we work. |
![]() | Emma HardingBlock 4 Representative Unfortunately prevailing circumstances meant I was of limited assistance to Block 4 JETs in terms of events and social meetups, but during my term I tried to keep folks engaged in NAJET's wonderful work, including surveys and the Connect magazine, as well as passing on any information with respect to COVID and CLAIR to JETs. I was very pleased to have met and worked with the NAJET council and I wish all of them every success in the future whatever they do. |

Steven is an ALT in Tokushima Prefecture, placed in Naruto City - believe it! Steven majored in Classics and was a Latin teacher for three years before moving on to less “dead” languages in Japan. Steven loves food and is always participating in or teaching cooking lessons. He also likes traveling via long road trips and couchsurfing, and runs AJET’s own grassroots lodging network, Tatami Timeshare, between planning events to bring Shikoku JETs together. |

![]() | Jonathan AmanatidisBlock 10 Representative I maintained an online presence for members of Block 10 to help distribute relevant information and connect with JETs across the block. I supported the NAJET council as secretary in some of our meetings, and promoted the AJET survey with some top-notch memes. |
