It’s the ECO friendly times right now and CLAIR is interested in saving some trees by taking some of their publications DIGITAL. So, we’re asking you, the JET community, what do you want? What materials are best in printed form and what materials could be better in digital formats?
If you haven’t yet, please take a few minutes to complete this short survey before time runs out!

As a new JET year approaches, and the new AJET council are finding their feet, we thought we would take the time to ask one of our longest-serving council members about what exactly AJET does for you!
Martin Nash is based in a small village in the south of Nara, and hails originally from Seattle. This is his 3rd year on the national council and he has a wealth of experience under his belt. Starting two years ago as the webmaster, Martin is currently serving his second year as the national council treasurer.

Greetings from National AJET!
The JET is almost up and I cannot believe how quickly time has flown. This will be my last E-bulletin message as Chair of National AJET. It’s been three great years serving on the council.
Make sure you take a look at the travel and volunteer opportunities available in this month’s E-bulletin. There is also information on how to get sponsorship from National AJET.
Thanks for the smiles and hugs,
Jen

Dana Berte, a 3rd year CIR from Tsugaru City in Aomori Prefecture loves dancing. In fact, her favourite part of American culture is dancing. When she arrived in Japan, she immediately started inquiring about teaching a dance class, in order to share her hobby with people who otherwise might not be interested in typical “international understanding” activities. It took some prodding, but once her office agreed, it grew into an extracurricular club with 5 regular members.
